hey there! welcome to Seats in the Sun - your go-to guide for the sunniest terraces across the netherlands. paul, july, and rob. we were fed up with struggling to find a sunny spot on beautiful days, and decided there had to be a better way to discover where and when to bask in the sunshine. so, we put our heads together and brought Seats in the Sun to life!
Seats in the Sun shows you which terraces are basking in the sun (or tucked away in the shade, if that's more your style) right now and later on. whether you're in amsterdam, groningen, maastricht, or anywhere in between, we've put these terraces on the map for you.
we like sitting on a terrace. we like sitting in the sun. but we like terraces in the sun even more. that's the reason we created Seats in the Sun: to ensure you can always find that perfect sunny spot. and hey, if there's a terrace we've overlooked, you can easily add it to our map. this way, we all help each other find more sunny spots. check out the leaderboard to see who has added the most terraces!
